WHEN TO INTRODUCE OR ADD A  RITUAL IN CONSTELLATIONS:

Constellations are a form of ceremony and Ritual within themselves. In this seminar, we will examine when a specific ritual might be necessary to complete a particular movement, to create more safety when trauma is present, or to enhance a client's resources and internal strength.

Besides opening and closing rituals, we use rituals to:

  • Include the excluded

  • Reconnect with a parent---IROM

  • Integrate a lost, wounded younger self.

  • Resource and Connecting

Rituals can add strength and clarity to the work.

In the words of Donna Henes:

"Ceremonial observance adds lucid layers – depth, dimension, drama, and distinction – to our lives, making the ordinary seem extraordinary. Through ritual practice, we can experience ourselves as prepared, present, passionate, principled, and potent. When we set aside the quality time and claim the psychic space for a ceremony when we assume the authority to do so, we can transform our perceptions, our perspectives, our experiences, and in the process, our reality."
